3KS PLUS TECHNOLOGY

3KS plus technology (3-curve system) is distinguished by its patented springless and unique operating principle.

Unlike conventional systems, in the 3KS plus locking cylinder, the locking pins are moved by the key's curve milling and not pushed against a spring.

Details of the technology: 12 extremely strong springless locking elements (= locking pins) are brought into certain positions by the forced control of the 6 key bends and interrogated via 2 pressure sliders.

A control bar in the rotor controls the skew profile of the key. During the insertion procedure, the 3KS plus key is interrogated a total of four times: that is, three times more than other systems.

The springless locking pin ensures maximum wear resistance as well as maximum anti-picking protection. This technology makes countless variations for cylinder locking systems possible.

Key

3KS plus keys are reversible. The two rounded tips make it particularly easy to insert the key into the cylinder, as well as providing maximum security against unauthorized duplication. For protection against unauthorized duplication or key manipulation, the system has 3 different levels of protection;

Break-in protection

Anti-puncture protection and, as an option, anti-extraction:

Carbide pins in the body and rotor protect the key from being punctured and extracted.

Anti-puncture protection:

A total of 12 springless locking pins with a total of 18 control pins should be moved simultaneously to a given position to move the rotor.

Anti-extraction and anti-tear protection:

Special locking pins and profiles in combination with the high-security module with tungsten carbide pins developed by EVVA protect against breaking and tearing of the cylinder body and/or extraction of the rotor.

Protection against key manipulation:

Tight tolerances and exact parallelism required make it extremely difficult to illegally duplicate keys.

Anti-picking protection:

Prevents cylinder pins from being brought into the correct position with special tools in order to open the door.

Organizational protection.

Keys are made by EVVA or EVVA partners only for people who can show the relevant legitimation document (e.g., security card).

Legal protection

The manufacturing and distribution of keys is done exclusively through EVVA and at specialized companies authorized by EVVA. In addition, EVVA protects 3KS plus keys from unauthorized production through patented features listed on the key.
